  • Wat Wora Chet Tha Ram is located west of the Royal Palace and east of Wat Lokayasutha. On the west side of far western canal. According to the Ayutthaya Annals it was built about 1593 which was the year King Naresuan died leading a Siamese army to attack King Tong U in Myanmar. The temple was constructed on the initiative of his younger brother, King Eakathosarot, for the Royal cremation at which 10, 000 monks attended.
  • Today the remains are a very large brick and morter Sukhothai style bell shaped stupa, the Vihara and Ubosot buildings and several Buddha images in Brick covered with morter.
