Cebu Cathedral Museum Cebu

  • The Cebu Cathedral Museum is opposite the Cathedral and was originally the parish house. It is worth a visit for two reasons. First it is an original building which survived the destruction of World War 11 bombing and as such is interesting inside. The base is made of cut coral slabs and the rooms and stairways are of large proportions with roof overlays for shade and large open windows for air circulation.
  • Second it now serves as an ecclesiastical museum for the region with numerous artifacts of the Spanish colonial period and Church history. The range of exhibits is very good.
