  • Traditional downtown Xian is the area surrounded by the city wall which has been extended to include the area in the second ring road. The Bell Tower is in the center of Xian and the 4 major commercial streets are Bei Dajie, Nan Dajie, Xi Dajie and Dong Dajie. Xian is famous all over China for its number of colleges.
  • There are many hotels and youth hostels in Xian. Because of the better geographical location as well as the convenient transportation tourists prefer to stay in the city center.
